Run Denver’s Marathon
It’s the Ultimate Urban Tour of Denver with epic sites. Start and finish in Denver’s City Park. Run through Empower Field at Mile High – twice! Run through Denver Fire Station #1, along seven miles of rivers, lakes and bridges – including Sloan’s Lake. Race through eclectic neighborhoods, historic Lakewood, the bustle of Colfax Avenue, and downtown Denver – with views of the majestic Rocky Mountains!
This is one for the bucket list! The Colfax Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier race.

Colfax Double Marathon Challenge
It’s back for the 4th year! We are issuing a challenge to all the marathon runners in the world … run 26.2 miles at a marathon race January 1, 2025 to May 17, 2025, and our full marathon on May 18, 2025. You get a sweet gift and bragging rights that you can run 26.2 anywhere including Denver at a mile high. More scoop here.
Awards
Set a new event record, win $1,000. Set a new state record, win an additional $1,000. See the times to beat. Age group awards are great keepsakes! Overall and masters awards are based on gun time (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Age group awards are by chip time (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in categories: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Run for Charity
Run for one of the largest Charity Partner programs in the country! Over 125 charities participate each year. Choose a charity to run for when you register, and they will contact you.
Packet Pick Up & Race Day Logistics
Pick up Race Packets Friday and Saturday before the race at the Cigna Denver Colfax Marathon Expo. No Race Day Packet Pick Up. Detailed race day logistics and RACE DAY HINTS will be published early May.
