The ANNUAL Colorado Running Hall of Fame celebration

Each year the Denver Colfax Marathon is proud to host The Colorado Running Hall of Fame.  The Colorado Running Hall of Fame recognizes Coloradans for remarkable achievement and influence on the sport of distance running.  Each year nominees are accepted, and in January the inductee class is selected and notified.  In February the class is announced.

They are  honored at the annual Colorado Running Hall of Fame event at the Denver Athletic Club.   This year’s event is April 7th, 2026 at 6:30pm.   You are able to purchase tickets here. 

This year’s inductees are Charlie Blueback, Andrea Dowdy, Dan King, Frank Mencin, and Brendan Reilly.

We are also proud to announce each year the High School Distance awards.  The Outstanding Colorado High School Distance Award recipient is Delaney Cohen.   The High School Achievement Award recipients are Dylan Blair, Nick Clark, Emily Cohen, Peyton Meineke, Addison Ritzenhein, and Hunter Robbie.
