Alyssa’s Light
Alyssa’s Light is a Colorado nonprofit initiative dedicated to youth mental health awareness, concussion education, advocacy, and community support. Inspired by Alyssa Peterson, our work helped lead to the passage of Alyssa’s Youth Concussion and Mental Health Protection Act (Alyssa’s Act), Colorado legislation that brings greater attention to the mental and emotional effects that can follow a concussion. Through education, advocacy, partnerships, and community outreach, Alyssa’s Light works to better protect young people and give families the information and support they need.
