The Foundation for Douglas County Schools works to enrich student experience and promote innovation by engaging our community in supporting students. The Foundation makes targeted investments in Douglas County schools and programs to accelerate student achievement and skill development, encourage and develop great teachers, and expand community involvement in our schools. Thanks to the support of our donors and community, we have succeeded in raising over $40 million dollars since 2010, supporting over 85 parent-driven, volunteer-based chapters, and engaging more than 7250 children and teachers in educational events and programs.
