It may seem that your workout ends when you stop moving but your downtime may be one of the most important parts of building fitness. In that vital recovery period, your body rebuilds and repairs to prepare itself for its next workout. And if you don’t recover properly, you may not be able to train and, ultimately, race properly. What are some good things to eat right after a run, when should you take something in and what role does hydration play?
