Stanley Harvesting Hope
Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic disorder that occurs in approximately one in 15,000 births and is recognized as the leading cause of life-threatening childhood obesity. PWS is characterized by low-muscle tone, slowed metabolism and most notably, the constant feeling of insatiable hunger. Stanley Harvesting Hope was created by two local Denver moms, both with young children fighting PWS, as a way to raise awareness and put an end to the challenges of this life-threatening disorder. All funds raised by Stanley Harvesting Hope go directly to the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research to propel their mission of finding treatments.
