Petén Health
Péten Health provides medical training and supplies to support El Programa de Salud Comunitaria, a community-based rural health care program in Petén, Guatemala. This program trains and equips Community Health Workers (or CHWs) to run clinics in their neighborhoods, providing medical care for their community. Their work makes affordable, local care accessible and helps their neighbors avoid long, costly and risky journeys in search of medical services. We are raising money to help fund the CHWs so they can continue to provide this amazing service.
