Catholic Charities, Samaritan House & Shelter Services
Samaritan House has been a Denver staple since 1986. Since that time, thousands of people have been served and found safe shelter, nutritious meals, and support services at Samaritan House. Today, our focus is primarily on serving women, families, and veterans who are experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Across our Samaritan House Community, we are dedicated to offering a hand up to everyone seeking emergency assistance, food, clothing, shelter, counseling, education, and life-skills training to get them back on their road to success. Our team of volunteers and dedicated staff wake up every morning determined to improve the lives of those they serve. At our shelters in FY 2021 we have provided 125,000 shelter nights and 836 beds per night.
