NEW in 2012

We like to keep the course fresh. Think it’s a boring run straight uphill on Colfax? Think again. First time ever, for any marathon: epic run through Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium. 7 miles of water. And a run through Denver Fire Station #1.

How does it all work?

First, pick a team captain. Yo, Captain: you can register (and pay for) the whole 5 person team, or let them register (and pay) individually, Just make sure they know your team name. (If you're registering individually, make sure to join a team or find your team name when you register.) Corporate and government employee teams, make sure you register in the Corporate Cup or Government Cup - cash prizes at stake. Second, choose the leg you want to run. You don’t need to let us know who’s running which leg. Third, plan for race day: transportation, hand offs, meeting up in City Park. Fourth, and most important - have fun!

Parking and RTD

Park at the start of your relay leg. All relay exchange zones are located near RTD stops. Relay teams receive RTD tickets to get from the end of your race leg back to your car, or to City Park, or back from City Park.

Virtual Urban Tour

Take the photo tour. You’ll learn lots of priceless trivia about the Denver’s sights you’ll be running past.

Glory & Awards

Awards for top 3 finishing teams in the Open, Corporate and Government Divisions for men, women, and co-ed. Awards based on chip time. Are you running with your co-workers? Make sure you register for the Corporate Cup Challenge. Kaiser Permanente and the Colfax Marathon has $13,500 in award money for charity. Are you a government employee?
