2012 CALL FOR CREDENTIALS
More than 10,000 registrants will participate in the 2012 Kaiser Permanente Colfax Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay on Saturday, May 19 - Sunday, May 20, 2012! If you’re interested in obtaining access to press areas for the Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay on Sunday, May 20, 2012 and/or The Bellco Colfax 5K on Saturday, May 19, 2012, please contact Liz Easterly – liz@runcolfax.org.
A detailed schedule of all race weekend events will be provided along with the credentials and a full media kit, including best spots to capture images/footage of the race.
PARKING & ROAD CLOSURES
VIP Press Parking is available. YOU MUST HAVE A PARKING PASS TO PARK YOUR VEHICLE IN CITY PARK. You must arrive by 5:00 am Sunday to access VIP Parking. Because of race course routes and construction in the park, you cannot leave VIP Parking before 10:30 am. We will provide golf cart shuttles should you choose to park elsewhere but you must register for media credentials. Full parking information will be provided with the media kit.

Friday, May 18
1:00pm-7:00pm: The Health and Fitness Expo at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium’s East Club Level Suites.
Saturday, May 14
9:00 am – 5:00 pm: The Health and Fitness Expo at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium’s East Club Level Suites.
9:00 am: Bellco Colfax 5K, Denver’s City Park - Just east of Ferril Lake (behind the Denver Museum of Nature and Science), Kick-off marathon weekend
Sunday, May 15
6:00 am: Marathon, Half Marathon, and Marathon Relay, Denver’s City Park
~7:00-7:30am– Relay exchanges begin at Sports Authority Field
~7:10 am: First half-marathoners will finish
~7:30 am: Urban 10 Miler, rolling start, Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design
~8:30 am: First marathoners will finish
~8:30 am: First relay teams will finish
~10:15 am: Rolling half marathon course closes
Noon: Rolling marathon course closing
7:15 am – 12:30 pm: After Party, City Park
